TORONTO, Canada, November 19, 2019 – The 2019 LPR Global Business Matching Meetings, held at the Korea Machinery Fair on October 23, 2019 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea, successfully sealed global partnerships between Western companies and South Korean manufacturers. LPR Global’s matching meetings and networking event was attended by companies across the globe from diverse industry backgrounds, including factory automation, home appliances, energy, automotive, and machine manufacturing.

LPR Global’s 8th annual one-on-one C-level meetings event brought together attendees with global partnership opportunities to engage in practical discussions about data science for machines, factory automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. In collaboration with the Korea Association of Manufacturing Industry (KOAMI), LPR Global recruited qualified Korean manufactures, with expertise in metal forming design, non-destructive testing equipment, progressive tooling, and 5 axis highly precise machining centers.

Jim Sheldon, CEO and Owner of DT Engineering, one of participants from the US, expressed his interest in equipment and tooling design capabilities from South Korean companies for his automation projects. “When we reviewed these Korean companies’ websites prior to the one-on-one meeting, we couldn’t be sure because so much of the website content in English got lost in translation. But when we met them face-to-face and discussed their experience and capabilities, we were impressed! LPR Global staff understood exactly what we were looking for and created successful matches,” said Jim Sheldon.

“We’re very happy to see the LPR Business Matching Meetings create successes and play a pivotal role for global partnerships between Korean SMEs and global companies. KOAMI will continue to work with LPR Global to help form high-value partnerships,” commented Mr. Park Young Tahk, Executive Chairman, KOAMI.

LPR Global’s Business Matching Meetings were followed by factory visits to selected Korean manufacturers arranged by LPR Global.

LPR Global has been hosting the matching meetings for global clients, interested in exploring South Korean manufacturing capabilities and partnerships, since 2012 with the support of the Korean federal government and the Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI). LPR Global reviews the scope of technical requirements in advance and pre-selects reliable matching suppliers for global companies.
